India's Automotive Workforce Gap

18 years ago, while teaching at BITS Pilani and conducting corporate training projects for leading automotive OEMs, our founders identified a critical disconnect between what engineering colleges were teaching and what the automotive industry actually needed.

Fresh engineering graduates — even from top institutions — lacked hands-on experience with real automotive systems. They could solve theoretical problems but couldn't diagnose a misfiring engine, calibrate an ECU, or analyze dyno data. The industry was spending 6-12 months training every new hire from scratch.

Meanwhile, diploma holders and technicians had practical skills but lacked the theoretical foundation to advance in their careers or adapt to emerging technologies like EV and ADAS.

The Core Problem:

India was producing thousands of automotive engineers every year, but very few were industry-ready. Companies were forced to choose between expensive in-house training programs or hiring from abroad.

That's when the vision for Reynlab was born: Create a training center that bridges the gap between academic theory and industry practice, with internationally recognized certifications that prove competency.
